Phnom Penh 18th May 2022 – Dai-ichi Life Insurance Cambodia and Sacombank Cambodia celebrated their first year’s bancassurance partnership that provides long-term life insurance protection and savings to Cambodian families. The celebration also recognized the achievements of and contributions from Sacombank Cambodia’s top branches in 2021.

The event was attended by Mr. Allen Thai, CEO of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Cambodia and Mr. Nguyen Nhi Thanh, Vice Chairman cum General Director of Sacombank Cambodia, along with senior management from both companies, Banca Business Managers and Financial Advisors.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Allen Thai, CEO of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Cambodia, said “We are thrilled to celebrate this first anniversary of our bancassurance partnership. It has been an extremely successful and rewarding years for both companies.”

Mr. Nguyen Nhi Thanh added: “In the first year, Sacombank Cambodia and Dai-ichi Life Cambodia have also launched Bancassurance products with many special incentive programs for clients and employees.  The protection cover provided to our customers has exceeded USD5.5 million. This is impressive considering the partnership was launched during the Covid-19 pandemic.
