Position Title : Manager, Distribution Training Academy

JOB PURPOSE / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  1. Training Quality Assurance 
  • Design a training quality assurance process & lead the execution in collaboration with stakeholders 
  • Conduct regular evaluations of trainer quality, standardization of course delivery and materials to ensure relevance, consistency, and alignment with business objectives through feedback gathering  
  • Regular monitoring & tracking of the effectiveness of training courses as well as programs  
  • Prepare reports and share to stakeholders on training impact & outcomes. 
  • Maintain and monitor the training process and record to comply with relevant SOP and regular requirements 
  1. Training Program & Content Development 
  • Design and execution roadmap of training programs tailored to different sales roles, experience levels, and distribution channels. 
  • Collaborate with sales management to align training initiatives with strategic goals and sales performance targets. 
  • Drive the adoption of future-ready strategies to address evolving industry and distribution needs. 
  • Design training content, develop materials of distribution training programs and conduct TTT to stakeholders  
  • Modernize instructional design through integrated blended learning techniques, digital tools, virtual classrooms, and in-person modules. 
  • Create and maintain high-quality training materials such as manuals, e-learning modules, sales pitches, scripts, and bite-sized video content. 
  1. Digital training content creation 
  • Design and lead the execution of digital training roadmap for distribution channels 
  • Prepare and lead the execution of training content production and release per content distribution calendar  
  • Lead the preparation of digital training content storyboard, shooting, direction, & casting to make training clips  
  • Ensure content reflects up-to-date product knowledge, market trends, and best practices in sales techniques. 
  • Localize and adapt regional content for the domestic market when necessary. 
  • Manage the Dai-ichi e-learning portal and ensure content is well-organized, relevant, and engaging. 
  1. Other Tasks 
  • Perform the role as the trainer of any training course (such as new agent/sales/business partner on-board, intervention training, and sales coaching) or PIC of any program/project required by the division and management. 
  • Deliver engagement and impactful training on products, sales skills, and soft skills to Agents, Sales Leaders, Insurance Sales Staff, Banca Business Manager, and bank partner staff. 
  • Foster a positive and motivated sales environment by offering continuous support and recognition. 
  • Lead group coaching sessions to promote collaboration and sharing of best practices. 
  • Meet all the deadlines and requirements of individual/ team assignments and projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales Training or Management  
  • Proven experience in Life insurance is required  
  • Expertise in developing comprehensive training content and instructional material development 
  • Ability to conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions on training sessions and inspect the execution of training programs to ensure consistency and effectiveness 
  • Solid skills in training quality assurance, with the ability to maintain and improve training standards. 
  • Proficiency in digital learning tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and e-learning content creation  
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful execution through cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Ability to monitor, track, and report on training programs, with a focus on assessing their impact on business performance and targets. 
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.
