Daiichi Life, a leading Japanese life insurer, has furthered our commitment to Cambodian children with a $15,000 donation to the Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC). This donation builds upon our long-term support for AHC since 2021, which includes previous fund donations, the construction of a vital playground for young patients, and significant support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation handover ceremony took place at AHC on February 20, 2025, with the special presence of Mr. Brett Clark, CEO of Daiichi Life Asia Pacific; Mr. Abe Yuichiro, Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer of Daiichi Life Asia Pacific; Mr. Mah Kin Yoong, CEO of Daiichi Life Cambodia; Professor Dr. Ngoun Chanpheaktra, CEO and Director of AHC; Daiichi Life Cambodia's board members; and management teams from both organizations.

AHC provides free, life-saving care to over 100,000 children annually, serving an average of 300-400 patients daily. To sustain their vital services, AHC launched its 2025 fundraising campaign with the first event called “Meet the Founder of AHC”, featuring its Japanese founder, Mr. Kenro Izu. We demonstrated our commitment to AHC's fundraising mission with the donation made on the same day.
