Daiichi Life and Run With Sai have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), with Daiichi Life as the exclusive sponsor of the “Run By Heart” charity run, scheduled for May 31st, 2025, at the Olympic Stadium. This collaboration, supported by the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC), aims to raise funds for Rabbit School, a specialized institution for autistic children, while promoting community health through running.

Today marks the official launch of Run By Heart. The charity run offers participants the flexibility to join either a virtual run or an in-person run. Virtual runners can submit their records and collect their running medals and kits on the event day, May 31st, 2025, at the Olympic Stadium. Regardless of participation method, all proceeds from registration fees will be donated directly to Rabbit School.

Mr. Mah Kin Yoong, CEO of Daiichi Life Cambodia, stated “We are excited to be the exclusive sponsor of Run By Heart. This partnership reflects our long-term commitment to supporting communities in Cambodia. This initiative will not only raise essential funds but also increase autism awareness, fostering a more inclusive Cambodia where every child feels valued and supported. We are truly honored to be working with Sai and supporting the cause towards Rabbit School’s vital work here in Cambodia”.

Building on Daiichi Life’s purpose “Partnering with you to build a brighter and more secure future,” and our core value, “We care”, this partnership underscores the company’s dedication to social impact, particularly in supporting vulnerable children.

Mr. Batham Oun (Sai), Founder of Run With Sai, added “This MOU is a milestone for 'Run By Heart.’ We are proud to partner with Daiichi Life, whose commitment aligns with our mission to make a difference in the lives of autistic children at Rabbit School. Together, we can create a brighter future for children with autism.”

More Than a Run – A Movement for Change

“Run By Heart” is more than just a race—it’s a campaign that promotes unity, social contribution, and inclusivity, ensuring that children with autism are embraced and supported. With nearly 500 participants last year and growing awareness of autism in Cambodia, this year’s event aims to expand its impact and provide even greater support to Rabbit School.
