The Daiichi Junior Cup 2026 concluded on Sunday, 23 August, with a Grand Final that brought about 1,000 young footballers, families, communities and Daiichi Life partners together in Phnom Penh for a day of exciting football matches, fun activities and celebrations.
Following months of competition across Phnom Penh, Battambang and Siem Reap since May 2026, the Grand Final brought together the top 16 U12 and U14 teams to compete for the championship.
The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Hor Sovathana, Deputy Director General of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia; Mr. Mah Kin Yoong, CEO of Daiichi Life; alongside Daiichi Life management, partners and supporters.
Crowning the 2026 Champions
The Grand Final concluded with Pus Keng Kong Soccer School (U12) and Siem Reap United (U14) crowned champions in their respective categories. Congratulations to the champions, and to all the young footballers who gave their best throughout the tournament. Daiichi Life is proud of every player for the talent, determination and passion they brought to the field.
From Local Pitches to the Grand Final
The 2026 tournament brought together 160 teams and 960 young players from across Phnom Penh, Battambang and Siem Reap, giving children from different communities the opportunity to gain match experience and put their skill into action on the pitch.
More than a competition, the Daiichi Junior Cup encourages young people to stay active while creating moments of connection and joy for families and communities, contributing to healthier and more connected communities.

The Daiichi Junior Cup 2026 was co-organized with PEAK Digital, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, and Insurance Regulator of Cambodia, and co-sponsored by V-Active, Yeo’s Cambodia and Alexing Sports.
