Dai-ichi Life proudly celebrated our 5^th anniversary of providing financial security to the Cambodian community under the theme “Securing Cambodian Families: Innovating for Tomorrow's Protection”.

The event was attended by H.E. Atsushi Ueno, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, H.E. Bou Chanphirou, Director General of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia, Mr. Hitoshi Yamaguchi, Representative Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer, Group Head, International Life Insurance Business and Chief General Manager, Dai-ichi Life Asia Pacific, Mr. Abe Yuichiro, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Dai-ichi Life Asia Pacific, Mr. Mah Kin Yoong, Acting CEO of Dai-ichi Life Cambodia, and the honorable members of the Board of Directors from across the Dai-ichi Life Group.

Since its establishment, we have remained committed to safeguarding the financial futures of Cambodian families. Through a range of comprehensive life protection plans, we have protected over 20,000 customers, ensuring their financial security and peace of mind in times of unfortunate events.

In the past five years, Dai-ichi Life has disbursed over USD 450,000 in claims and benefits, demonstrating our dedication to fulfilling our promises to customers. We have also built a robust network of over 500 professional individual insurance agents through our specialized full-time and part-time Japanese-designed training programs, further expanding our professional outreach and accessibility across the nation.
