12 May 2023 – Daiichi Life Insurance (Cambodia) PLC. (“Daiichi Life Cambodia”) today handed over a newly built playground to the Angkor Hospital for Children, located in the hospital’s premise in Siem Reap. Every day, hundreds of children seeking treatment at the Hospital will benefit physically and emotionally from a place to play together.

The handover ceremony was held at the Hospital, joined by Mr. Ponlu Tola, CEO of Daiichi Life Cambodia, Dr. Ngoun Chanpheaktra, Director of the Angkor Hospital for Children, senior management teams of both sides and other distinguished guests.

This latest contribution is a series of support to the Angkor Hospital for Children over the last 9 months following the partnership donation through Daiichi Life’s digital product “BrightLife” and a monetary donation from Daiichi Life Cambodia’s parent company, Daiichi Life Holdings in December 2023 all with the aim of improving Cambodia’s child healthcare and treatment.
