Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 25th June 2020:  Daiichi Life Insurance (Cambodia) PLC. initiates a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) called “Give Blood, Save Life” in an effort to raise wider awareness of the urgent need to increase the availability of safe blood for use wherever it is needed to save life. This Campaign also encourages people to show their care for and love towards each other by donating blood whilst celebrating the International Blood Donation Day.

This Campaign was held at Daiichi Life Cambodia’s Head Office at Vatannac Capital and was joined by the Senior Management Team, staffs and members of the National Blood Transfusion Center (NBTC).

Mr. Allen Thai, Chief Executive Officer of Daiichi Life Cambodia said: “Donating blood is a sign of humanity and is probably one of the most significant contributions that one can make towards the society.  By donating blood, we are gifting life to someone.  On the occasion of the World Blood Donors’ Day, Daiichi Life Cambodia is proud to help raising awareness about the need for blood donation by mobilizing our work force to set an example to Give Blood, Save Life!”

Mr. Sann Sethvitou, Training Manager of Daiichi Life Cambodia said: “this is my first time to join this event in order to help and save life. I will join again next year “.
